- Power Cable: used to connect 120V AC from power receptacle to an
instrument (e.g., power supply, oscilloscope, function synthesizer,
etc.).
- Coaxial Cable: constant impedance cable used to carry time varying
signal voltages
- Banana Plug Wire:
- 24 AWG Hookup Wire: used to make connections on breadboard
Minimize
lead lengths, use long banks of holes (buses) for power and ground.
DC power
supplies change AC to DC and maintains a constant voltage output within
limits. The Leader supply on the left also provide current protection.
The supply on the right provides ± 15 V outputs.
This meter
measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency,
duty cycle, diode test, continuity, and temperature.
- Please read the meter's specs in its manual.
- AC/DC current reading mode is usually for very small currents,
see meter manual for range.
- Never attach the meter when set for reading resistance to a circuit
with power applied.
A device
capable of generating one or more desired waveforms (e.g., sine, square,
triangular).
An instrument
for displaying instantaneous values of one or more electrical
signals as a function of time. |
